Ella resides in Greenwood, Indiana and before that she lived in Newberry, Indiana (population 270). She is a graduate of Switz City Central (there were 28 kids in her graduating class).
Ella is also a graduate of Indiana University, as well as the Michigan College of Beauty.
Coming from a very small town, she had to go out to find opportunities. Ella started doing makeup professionally in 1989 with Lancome Cosmetics. In 1993 she found her passion doing makeup and hair for TV commercials, and continues to strive for her big break doing makeup and hair for national television. The opportunity to do makeup and hair for this Doritos commercial is a dream come true and she is blessed to be a part of it. Her biggest achievement in the business (so far) is doing this Doritos commercial and being Key Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist for David Carradine and Mariel Hemingway in 1997 for the movie "American Reel." Ella is very blessed to be able to do what she loves, even if it is on a smaller scale at a local salon and spa in Greenwood, Indiana. She loves to help women feel good about themselves by listening to them and achieving a look that suits their lifestyle and personality. Her dream is to have her work splashed on the big screen and to continue working with talented people in the film and television industry. Coming from such a small town and overcoming a lot of challenges in her life, she's picked herself up by the boot straps and continues to persevere and keeps setting goals and dreaming.
