Joe is the oldest, tallest, and brightest of John and Diane Herbert's five sons. Joe was born in Cincinnati, and grew up in Logan, Indiana. He spent the majority of his youth writing sentences as punishment for various things. When he wasn't doing some forced creative writing, he made a name for himself by always being in close proximity of his brother Dave's injuries. Closing doors when Dave was losing fingers, sitting comfortably up in trees dave was climbing, and yes, one step behind him when he launched himself from the school bus into our driveway. There are no eye witnesses that Joe had anything to do with his brother's freak accidents.

Joe has a strong background in the field of art and design, despite never winning a coloring contest as a child. Before he crashed the Super Bowl in the 2007 Doritos contest, Joe started a web site design firm called EI8HT LEGS, which later merged with Enhanced Telecommunications Corp (ETC) where he continued to design web sites until leaving to focus on film production and the invention of a board game. He and Dave co-founded Jeezle Pete's! - a board game company, and their first game, Triviathon, will be unveiled to the public this February after the Super Bowl at the Toy Fair in New York City. He would love to go there having finishing first in the 2009 Doritos contest with his commercial "FREE DORITOS!" aired during the Super Bowl. That's where you, votes, and this site comes in.

Joe graduated from East Central High School in 1993, and Purdue University in 1997 with a BA in Visual Communication Design. In 2002, he married Jayme, and they now have two kids; Pierce (4) and Kennedy (2). Joe and his family currently reside in Batesville, Indiana.

OTHER INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT JOE:
  • Joe can dunk a basketball. Even now at the age of 33, however, a current broken ankle keeps him grounded at the moment.

  • Joe helped teach local youth basketball as a volunteer with the Dearborn County YMCA for many years.

  • Joe is a three time flag football champion with the Red Zone flag football team

  • Joe can solve a Rubic's Cube in under 2 years

  • Something most people dont' know about Joe is that he competed professionally in gymnastics for 8 years, and trained at the same facility 1996 Olympic gymnasts Amanda Borden and Kerri Strug trained. However, if he tried to do any of that stuff today he would probably break his neck in three places.

We are blessed to be in a position to use the talents God gave us. And, we are forever grateful for your support.
